Thanks to many people (especially Shannon), we have compiled a huge list freebies -- free educational material you can get by phone, mail, or internet. The list is far from complete, but we're working on it. We have it on our web site at http://www.abqhomeschool.com/freebies.html.

If you have any new ones to add (or changes to make to the ones listed there) please reply to this thread. Thanks!

I've found http://www.homeschoolfunkits.com which will send free science projects (you pay shipping and handling). There is a wide variety to choose from and your not limited to the number of different kits to order (only on the quanity of the same kit). I also found it to be about $5.00 per kit for shipping.

There's a magazine called The Old Schoolhouse at http://www.OldSchoolhouse.com where you can subscribe to and get information from other homeschoolers and advice on different things, tons of articles for both the old and new homeschooler. Great magazine.
